Just because the weather is turning frosty doesn't mean your naked thoughts will have to be placed on chilly hold. Without a doubt, you'll be able to find a place or two, or more, in Providence, Rhode Island that will keep your naked heart warm and your thoughts on fire. Providence may be the capital of the smallest state in the Union but it provides a big heart for the entire region. There are gay venues in Providence that people from all around New England come to take advantage of. As in any city, there is a vibrant downtown area and part of that is gay central where the majority of the bars, restaurants and cafes are located. Most bars are within walking distance of each other in the gay neighborhood. It's all very convenient and what's more, there's no shortage of hotties to feast your eyes on. All of Providence's bars are packed with hunks - besides being the state capital, it's home to universities like Brown, and this means men, and lots of them hang out in bars or clubs. Places like The Providence Eagle (providenceeagle.com), the premiere leather bar which hosts steamy leather men and holds a variety of events all week long, are popular gathering spots. If you're a pool fancier, as is this traveler, you can play free all day every day at the Eagle. If leather doesn't do it for you, hoof it over to The Alley Cat (thealleycat.net), a small but busy place. It attracts a diverse crowd and you will observe more than one young hunk who has "lost" his shirt. If that's not enough to sate your naked appetite (and it wouldn't be enough for this traveler) then get thee to some of the other venues the city offers. The Dark Lady holds a Hot Body Contest each month and this will go a long way to satisfying your hunger. Their Halloween bash was loaded with hunks who had decided on costumes that showed more flesh than fabric. Never a bad fashion choice. Mirabar (mirabar.com) goes a few steps further for the naked enthusiast. Scantily clad shot boys are all over the place and they'll have you slugging back drinks just to keep them near you. If that isn't adequate naked fare, there are dancers who will entrance. Still not enough? Then attend the Progressive Strip Poker parties - with cash prizes. And all for losing your pants. Does it get better than this? Yes. XL Ultra Lounge (clubxlri.com) is the place to go for the naked traveler who cannot be satisfied at the other establishments. All-male, all-nude revues are the order of the day at XL. The men are incomparable - and some will take you by surprise. This is a hot, popular attraction in a beautifully appointed new site. The strippers perform in an area that allows maximum exposure and the sets are eye-popping. As if that weren't enough, there is a shower area, tiled with some of this naked traveler's favorite colors, where the men shower and cavort dripping wet. Forget about wet underwear - this is the whole package and then some, sopping wet and squeaky clean. Yum. Still not sufficient? Well, stay put at XL because they also have private rooms where the guys will give you a one-on-one lap dance that will curl your hair. Four rooms (there may be a line; well, who said things would be easy?) are set aside for your private time with the dancer of your choice. Take advantage, these things are of the moment and your favorite dancer might not be there the next time you get the urge to have him sit on your lap. Though there are plenty of things to do in Providence, we're talking naked travel and one of the best ways to scratch that itch is at a sauna. There are two bath houses in Providence that attract a crowd from all over New England. Since there are no bath houses in Boston, you'll find that crowd driving the hour it takes to get to the tubs in Providence. Club Body Center (cbcresorts.com) is one of them. Like the rest of the chain, this is a comfortable place to see uninhibited nakedness. With a couple dozen rooms, some VIP rooms, lounges, gym equipment, steam and more, you'll have no trouble finding things to see and do. Then there's the mega version. Literally. MegaPlexx (themega-plex.com) is a huge naked playground: VIP rooms, 300 lockers, 75 single rooms, double rooms, lounges, a dry sauna, a steam room, video rooms, showers, video rooms and more.
