If you're a Jason Adonis fan, there's a new star over Bethlehem, called the Jason Adonis Collector's Edition 2. Jet Set has compiled almost three hours of scenes from six films he made for them from 2003 to 2005: Man of the Year, Mirage, The Hole, American Porn Star, Wet Palms (episode 6) and Jet Set Direct: Take 2.
    Some of the scenes are better than others, and three of them are very good indeed.
    Rod Barry and Jason Adonis had one of the best sex scenes of 2005 in Wet Palms. Jason strays far from his gay-for-pay image; not only does he suck cock with gusto, he drools and chokes on it. He makes you believe he loves it. Then Rod bottoms noisily. This straight-on-straight encounter is dynamite.
    Jason Adonis will choose the winner for Man of the Year, and competitors are willing to go to extraordinary lengths jockeying for position in Jason's pricking order. Danny Rhymes tries first, offering Jason four reasons to pick him. But when logic fails, Danny concludes that a blow job may be more persuasive. Jason, not to be out-maneuvered, replies, "You're gonna have to do more than this."
    Danny tongues his way to Jason's nipples, which Jason has rubbed to hard points. Then he faux-rims Jason, patting his buns and flickering his tongue on and around Jason's hole. He also sticks a finger into Jason's ass, which Jason doesn't much like.
    Danny's gaze is fixed so intently on the camera, I wanted to shout, "Pay attention to what you're doing." The vapid dialog is equally irritating, and it says a lot about the degree to which the two models fail to connect.
    Hunky, compact Marc Stone joins Adonis and Damon Ivy at his pool, in Mirage. The three suck, then move inside for more hot oral action including some delicious rim jobs. Adonis explores Stone's anal walls of ecstasy while he sucks Hammer. Adonis then fucks Hammer who fucks Stone, whose face shows his delight. The three shoot on each other.
    In Wash West's award-winning The Hole, Adonis describes how he and Sam Tyson turned gay. A hilarious phone call is the precursor of them getting sucked into "the hole," emerging in bed with a bottle of pink massage oil. The sex is more tender than tough, though Sam is far more committed to it than Jason, whose stalwart fucking lasts through multiple positions, after which they eat a banana and plight their troth.
    Jason Adonis and Rico Suave are contestants in American Porn Star. Adonis has big muscles, but is physically remote. He lies spread-eagled, making no attempt to reciprocate and looking for all the world like a plucked chicken, until judge Alex Powers orders him to suck Rico. Adonis complies, if only for seconds, then he fucks Rico. Judge Tag Eriksson strips and jumps onstage, shouting "If you want to win this you gotta let me do my thing. Now, get me wet!" Tag smooches with Rico and Jason, both of whom suck him; then Tag fucks Rico. Tag and Jason both shoot, leaving Rico on the bed pounding his pud.
    The best scene is saved for last — Thor Stephans' contribution to the little-seen Jet Set Direct Take 2. Pete Ross is trying like hell, but without success, to get off. Neither his favorite porn videos nor the XXX feed on his satellite dish nor his collection of hardcore magazines nor the bowl of fruit on the kitchen table will make his stubborn cock twitch. Then he looks out the panoramic window of his upscale loft apartment and sees Jason Adonis cleaning the pool.
    Not only does Pete's cock leap to attention, Jason materializes, naked and smiling, in Pete's apartment for a robust fantasy fuck. Though I've never been a big fan of Adonis, he has undeniable charm and sex appeal, both of which are turned up to their rarely-seen max here. Abetted by Pete's ear-to-ear grin, theirs is a combustible connection, made only better by the ending, which gives both models a chance to display some surprising acting chops.
