I'm happy to say that The Pup Grows Up is one of the better offerings I've seen from the twink factory that is Miami Studios. This one shows a surprisingly different side of Mark Woods, which in turn helps make this a memorable outing.
    The film is hosted by Woods' twin Matt, clad only in a pair of jeans, and looking a lot more buff than in previous films. He tells his brother's story of his entry into porn, and we see Mark's first-ever scene (a jack-off session with his brother), then other scenes leading up to where he is now. Between each scene, Matt throws in a few endorsements of his two new studios, Firestorm (which focuses on military themes) and Rising Sun (which focuses on white boys with Asian guys). After Mark's final scene, Matt ends the film with a stirring jack-off resulting in a big load.
    Big loads must be in the Woods' genes since Mark ends his five scenes with loads that smother his costars' bodies, faces, and chests. It's an impressive feat, but what is more impressive and surprising are the eagerness, passion, desire and tenderness he shows in his scenes with Rico and Luis T. He shows some of those qualities when he kisses and fucks Josh Williams and Takeshi, but when he lays in bed with Rico, softly kissing the Latino's full lips, as well as his neck, then moving down to nuzzle his pert nipple, it's enough to make one's heart melt and cock rise.
    When it comes to sucking, sometimes guys who play it "straight," like the Woods brothers, either don't suck cock, or lazily do it by licking the head and calling it a day. In The Pup Grows Up, Woods is unstoppable as he excitedly sucks, licks and jacks his costars' cocks as if each is the last he'll ever suck.     There were only a couple of things I didn't like about The Pup Grows Up. In this one when the guys kiss and suck, there isn't a soundtrack, but when they fuck, there's suddenly a soundtrack. It's so unnecessary, and at times, the music with its inspirational swells and sometimes 1970s comedic porn bass, doesn't fit the scene. The director should have let the guys make their own soundtrack with their moans, grunt and dirty talk. The other item is the lack of face shots during the fucking. Sure, it's hot to see Woods' thick cock penetrating a hungry hole, but I'd like a sneak a few glances at the looks on the models' faces to see if they like or love what's being done to them.
