High Octane's Tattooed Tools is an anomaly in several respects. It is the first High Octane film in nearly two years that is not a widescreen production; no one's tool is tattooed (or pierced, either, although some of the models are tattooed elsewhere); and the sex is fairly low octane.
    Evan Rochelle and newcomer Tomi wake up in their tighty whities and greet the day with sex. Evan is so furry, unwaxed and unshaven, that you may not recognize him until you see that enormous, unmistakable cock of his. After 69, Evan fucks Tomi energetically in several positions. Evan cums on Tomi and dresses for work, leaving Tomi in bed naked, eating his own spooge.
    The action jumps from there to a gay bar, where most of the rest of the cast is gathered. Marco Campbell is the bartender; Jack Wright is doing a pole dance. Claudio Antonelli is followed into the men's room by Joshua Rodgers, but a kiss is all you'll see until later, because the camera wants to show you Jack's striptease. His acrobatics had already captured the attention of Geoffrey Garcia and Tavish Szabad, but once Jack's foot-long schlong is revealed, Geoffrey and Tavish want to touch. Where they are, touching is permitted. In fact, everything is permitted, though the subsequent three-way draws little notice from the other bar-goers. They kiss, they suck, they make a rimming train on the stage, and Geoffrey, who is usually a multi-orgasmic bottom, is a mono-orgasmic top, fucking Tavish. Jack also fucks Tavish, sucking his toes at the same time.
    Eventually Fred Fele notices the activity onstage and invites his buddy Buck Monroe to give him a blow job. Before recording that action, the camera ducks back into the men's room, where Claudio and Joshua have shucked their clothing and Claudio is on his knees with Joshua's cock down his throat. Joshua returns the blow job and ups the ante by preparing Claudio's ass for fucking with his tongue and a few fingers. They use the toilet bowl as a platform for a too-quick two-position fuck, after which each man samples his cum.
    Back in the bar, bartender Marco is getting interested in the blow job Fred is getting from Buck. He strips and jumps up on the bar, which puts his cock within range of Fred's mouth. They do a rimming train, too, and Marco fucks Buck's ass in two positions while Fred fucks Buck's face. The rapid body slams we see get out of synch with the rapid body slams we hear. A few seconds of armpit rimming enliven the transition in which Fred and Marco trade places.
    In the final scene, Evan comes home, bringing Albert Jara with him. House guest? Jara jumps in the hot tub only to find himself being ogled by Antonio Martinelli. Another house guest? Albert beckons, with his hand and with his hardon, and Antonio strips and joins him in the tub. There's plenty of muscle in this combination but not a drop of ink. They make out and play with each other's dicks, then Albert rims Antonio and Antonio fucks Albert in about five positions, with their cum shots bringing the scene, which may be the film's best, to an abrupt close.
    Following hard upon the heels of the excellent Ransom and the Scorched-Shirt-rated Hot Property, Tattooed Tools was disappointing. Except for Tomi, we know these models (often by other names) so there's a body of work from which to rate their performances. There's energy here, but it seems to be energy for its own sake rather than an indication of guys really getting off on and with each other.
